Welcome Message

Hello Beech Class!

If you need to get in touch, please contact the school office if urgent or our class e-mail: beech2020.millfield@gmail.com.

It's Miss Howe here. I am so looking forward to welcoming you back to school in September. I know for some of you it will have been a long time! We are going to have a fantastic year together. I have heard some lovely things about you from your previous teachers, and of course I know lots of you from being your teacher last year in Pear Tree Class.

It won't be long until we're back in school having fun and making memories with all your friends. Some of you and your families may be feeling all sorts of emotions about this, you may be anxious or worried about what it is going to be like, which I totally understand. I am here to help you have a smooth transition into school and your new class, and we at Millfield will make sure we are doing everything we can to make you happy and safe.

Our first Learning Theme for the year is going to be

'Land Ahoy!'

This means that we are going to be travelling the world, exploring and discovering! We will be learning about James Cook and Christopher Columbus. I can't wait to get started.

Following the announcement of a national lockdown the school will be closed to ALL pupils on Tuesday 5th January and will reopen for vulnerable pupils and children of key workers only on Wednesday 6th January. Further details on places and home learning to be sent tomorrow..........................Please take a look around our website to find out more about our Good school..........................Are you looking for a school place for your child? ...Give us a call for an informal chat and arrange a socially distanced visit to look round (after school hours)....................
