Lots of practise on these will help you with your writing now and in year 3. Come on Maples you can do it!
You can look at 1 and 2 or 3 and 4 common exception words.

Here is your photo.
Imagine what you can see, hear, smell and touch. The sentences must include adjectives, adverbs and conjunctions!!
For example from another photo -
The leaves swayed from side to side like the movement of seaweed as the boat drifted closer to the golden, sandy shore.
Mild – 2 sentences
Medium - 3 sentences
Hot – 4 or more sentences (huge high five for aiming high!)
Keep practising those mental maths skills. Today work on your recall of number bonds to 10/20/100, how many can you write in 5 minutes?
Today is all about understanding capacity before we move on to measuring in litres and ml. There are some really lovely practical activities you could do to help your understanding and exploring. Follow the link to the BBC page….
My favourite is activity 2:
1. For this activity you will need to find a big container and a little container (these could be cups, bottles, jugs or bowls).
2. Estimate how many little containers it would take to fill up the big container.
3. Check your answer by filling the little container with water then pouring it into the big container – did you guess right?
Remember to ask an adult to help you, you don't want to make a big mess!
Have fun and remember to send us a photo!
Well it's arty Wednesday and today we would like you to have a go at a collage of a town or city. You may want to have a go at creating a city with an interesting skyline or you may choose a location or town in which you are very familiar like where you live.
Below is a clip that will help you with ideas.
Please do not worry about not having all of the paper and resources. Just use what you find at home.
