Good morning Sycamore!

I hope that Day 1 of your home learning went well :-)

Any questions or queries, please send an email!

Active Start time!

I hope that you all got on well with Jo Wicks' workout yesterday morning! Have another great PE session today!

After a nice, active start, time to get focussed!

Remember to try to spend a bit of time every day on these following activities:

  • Read for at least 30 minutes - As the weather is getting a bit nicer, perhaps you can spend a bit of time enjoying reading a book in the garden on a blanket? Perhaps you can write a book review once you have finished the book you are currently reading and send it to me by email?
  • Practice times tables for 20 minutes. Year 3’s, you should know: 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10 by the end of this school year.
  • Practice spellings for 15 minutes

Choose 5 words a day to practice using look, cover, say, write, check.

Highlight the words when you definitely know them.

How many different words can you make from this sentence below?

Learning at home is fun!

Write today's date into your English exercise book and make a list of your words.

Perhaps, if there is the opportunity for you to do so, practice your ICT and typing skills by typing up your list and emailing it to me to see!

The World of David Walliams is releasing an audio story from The World'sWorst Children every day for the next 30 days.

Head to:

Perfect for tea-and-biscuit breaks! Yum!

Today, have a go at playing Hit the Button.

Focus on number bonds, halves, doubles and times tables.

Maddy Moate (from the CBBC programmes) is going to be doing a 30min lesson live every weekday, starting at 11am.

Ask an adult to help you to safely visit her page on YouTube:

Watch and join in with her lesson! Today the lesson will be 'Flowers and Pollination'.

If you like Street Dance, then Diversity are offering free membership to their online tutorials for a month. A parent will need to help and set this up for you to start. Then you can have a go at the tutorials.

(Adults will need to please make sure that they cancel the membership if it is no longer required after a month).

I hope that you have another great day!

Any questions, remember you can email.

James emailed me his list too and worked really hard on his too! You can see their efforts in the document below yes

Thank you all for joining in, working hard and even doing a bit of ICT at the same time as your English.

Have a great rest of the day, all of you.

Remember that Oliver Jeffers will be reading another story later on if you enjoyed yesterday's story!
