Good morning Chestnut Class!
It's the last day of term at home school! You have done so well for these last 4 months and I am sure you are looking forward to the summer holidays and a rest. We are all looking forward to welcoming you back to school in your new year group with your new teachers.
I am so proud of how hard you have worked at Home School and I am looking forward to seeing you again at school.
Today, have a think about the year you have just finished at school. For your home learning today, you might like to make a scrap book to remember this year. I am posting a template you could use, or you could just use your English book to write down some of your memories and the things you enjoyed the most this year. You might think about....
Our different topics - the Romans, Egyptians, States of Matter, Sound, Hockey, Cricket, our visit to Norwich Castle to learn about the Romans and Celts, our Christmas performance.... and so on.
And just for fun, you could play Would your rather....? with someone in the family. Talk about the choices you would make and why!
And finally, perhaps in the afternoon, you could have some traditional toy day time at home. You can begin to relax and unwind after an unusual summer term.
Have a good last day and remember to let me know how you got on!
