Again quick recap with split diagraphs. Remember to read through them all in both columns. Then see if the words are correctly spelt.

Reading comprehension today.
You will be reading ‘The camping trip’. (This is in the resources section.)
Please note that there are different ‘chilli’ level question pages (mild, medium and hot). Remember to stretch yourself and write full sentences as answers when the question requires it. We would be doing this in school.
Once you have had fun answering the questions then go through the answer page and check your answers and correct where you need to. This ‘review and improve skill’ is an important part of writing. Mistakes are how we learn!
Warm Up – Quick fire adding, roll a dice or pick out a number card (pack of cards/numbers written on bits of paper) and add them. How many can you do in 5 minutes?
Today we are going to have a go at drawing a bar graph with our ‘types of houses’ results. Remember, as there are so many, use one square to represent 2s (like in the examples from yesterday).
The results are at the bottom of the page.
You can draw your own (with a grown up’s help) or use the template at the bottom of the page.
Toy Day Thursday
How have you been getting on with finding out about toys from the past? What do you think are the main differences between toys now and toys in the past?
Today, your challenge is to complete a time line (print the one at the bottom of the page OR draw your own). Can you draw or write an example of a toy in each ‘era’. You might have to do some internet research about Victorian toys and early 20th century toys!
Another challenge could be to ask as many people in your family as you can about their favourite toy, then maybe make a tally!
