Good morning Maple! We hope you've enjoyed a nice breakfast to get your brains ready! Have you enjoyed getting active each day? We've had a go at Joe Wicks' work out most mornings this week - even my little dog Martha tries to join in! She's good at the stretches, but not the bunny hops! Have a great day and enjoy this lovely sunshine!

Here are some of the things you could do today:

  • Get active for at least 15 minutes - remember you can use the video clips in the resources section, or go outside to run around your garden or go for a walk.
  • Read for at least 20 minutes.
  • Practise your spellings for 15 minutes. Please look at the bottom of this page for new phonics words (only if you need to work on phonics) or weekly spelling words.
  • Mental maths - Practise 2, 5 or 10 times tables using 'Hit the Button, coconut multiples or one of the tables games on kids' zone.
  • Maths job - telling the time on an analogue clock. How did you get on with ordering the lengths of time yesterday? Today, have a go at writing your daily schedule, a bit like this:

8 o'clock - Get up and have breakfast

9 o'clock - do some exercise.

For an extra challenge, write how many minutes you do each thing for or draw a clock to show what time you do the jobs!

  • English/Science

Continue to add to your animal fact page.

On iplayer there is a fun set of programmes called ‘Deadly 60’. The programmes follows the wildlife presenter Steve Backshall as he tracks down some of the worlds deadliest animals. This could be a fun watch but informative too if your chosen animal is in one of the episodes.

Remember there is extra information, pictures, videos and web links to help you in the resources section.

I'm sure you will do your neatest and best work!
