Sycamore Class

Good morning Sycamore class!

I hope that you have all had a lovely weekend. Another weekend of strange weather, but this time it has been the wind! It certainly blew the cobwebs away! Yesterday was a lovely day though, wasn't it? I hope that you managed to get out and about and enjoy it.

This week, Grace began puppy classes! She has been focussing on learning to walk nicely on her lead. As she had been doing so well with all the practicing at home in the garden, we were able to take her out yesterday for a short walk. She really enjoyed being out and about in the woods and seeing new people and other dogs too. We had a lovely time too and saw lots of beautiful butterflies on our walk.

Have any of you signed up for the Summer Sports Camp already? It sounds like lots of fun and a fabulous opportunity! Here's the flyer for you to have a read of it again:

My daughter has still been busy working on her animation. It's over a minute long now, and it's taken her a lot of time to do what she has so far with it. She has a little bit more to do with it and then some editing to do too! Hopefully, you'll be able to see it soon. I wonder what you have been doing towards your 50 things challenges or the Blue Peter 6 badges challenge.

I look forward to reading about which of the '50 things to do', or the Blue Peter 6 Badges of summer things you've managed to tick off or work towards this weekend in your diary entries!

Each week, there will be a variety of activities set on this class page every day for you to choose from and complete. As well as this, there is daily reading, spellings, and times tables practice for you to do, and some ideas for some physical activity too.

As always, you can access the books and games on Bug Club and Active Learn too.

Try to have a good balance of activities and make sure that you enjoy the learning that you do.

If you have any problems or would just like to contact us, you can email

We look forward to seeing your work and hearing from you!

Please do remember to make use of the resources that are in the 'Keeping Safe Online' folder.

The most important thing is that you must remember that if you see something online that worries you, then

You must tell an adult, report it, and switch the computer off.

Please also remember that you can use the Childline number to speak to someone if something is worrying you. You will remember the telephone number from our assemblies, but here it is again:

0800 1111

There is also a new phone line and text line for Norfolk Children’s Services, which is just for children to use if you’re feeling unsafe or scared. Don’t keep it to yourself.
