Welcome to Pear tree class!
Love where we live! I can't believe it is the final term of the year already! This year has flown by!
Our new learning theme is ‘Love where we live’.
We will be exploring where we live by travelling to Asia and learning all about the area that we live in! As part of our Geography we will be looking at maps and creating our own directions. We will also be looking at how we all travel to school and we will do a traffic survey in North Walsham to see what form of transport is used the most!
As historians we will be learning about the history of our area and what has changed in living memory for us and our parents/grandparents! We will also have a go at doing some paper weaving!
As scientists we will explore different local plants and learn scientific names for different parts of a plant and what their job is!
Alongside our main learning theme we will be continuing with our Spanish, PSHE lessons and our Learning for life lessons. PE lessons will continue twice a week. This term we are doing dance and net & wall.
We are very excited about this term. If you have any questions, our class email is below.
Furthermore, please login to your Active Learn (Bug Club) for access to some online books and some math games!
Thanks for reading,
Mr. Davies (class teacher)
