Highly Recommended Maths Resource

White Rose have opened up their website for parents. They are producing 5 daily lessons each week, which focuses on a different topic. Each day has a short video then there is an activity to complete followed by answers. We will be asking you each day to access this resource, this will be in addition to what we are already setting for maths so the topic will be different.

Please start these as soon as you are able. Most of you will need to look at the Year 6 lessons but for some of you it might be worth looking at a lower or higher year group.

Super Theme Days

From next week (Monday 30th March), we are going to have a theme for each day. This might involve something to think about, to discuss with others in your family or something to make or do. Each day will have a title such as Musical Monday or Thoughtful Thursday. Within our welcome message each day you will find out what the focus is. We would love to hear your feedback on how you get on or if you have any other ideas for themes. Have fun!

Learning Theme Project

Please visit our Resources and Weblinks section for information about a creative project we would like the children to do. All this week (w/b 23rd March) we have been asking you to start thinking of ideas of a project about the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings - we have now set a deadline of Monday 20th April for it to be completed by. When your project has been completed, we would love to see them so please take a photo and email to our class email account and we will share them on our class page.

Good luck and have lots of fun!
