Telling the time:

Telling the time - Year 2 children are aiming to tell the time when it is o'clock, half past, quarter to and quarter past on an analogue (not digital) clock. If your child can do this, the next level is telling the time at 5 minute intervals (5 past, 5 to etc). Use the second  video clip in resources to help. If it is too tricky for your child, stick to o'clock, then half past to begin with.

English

Try to encourage neat handwriting and capital letters, finger spaces and full stops! They might enjoy putting the date in their work book (if they have theirs from school) before they start.
