The Year 5 children visiting Hautbois House have had a very good day!
In the morning, we had a look around the house and grounds, sorted out our rooms and then had a picnic lunch outside. We got lost in the maze, played football rounders before taking part in our first activities.
One group scaled the heights of the climbing wall while the others tried paddle boarding on the River Bure. Everyone enjoyed themselves! Many of the climbers reached the top of the wall, while most of the paddle boarders ended up more than a little wet!!
After tea, we had a little walk by the river and were delighted to find a family of baby hedgehogs on our return!
We spent some time relaxing before bed, with a film and other quiet activities.
Let’s hope they slept well!
Day 2:
A lovely walk along the Bure Valley Railway after a busy morning crate stacking, climbing and kayaking.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
