Middle phase children have had a super first day at How Hill. We had a look around the grounds before lunch and then spent the afternoon doing a nature trail and dyke dipping - we managed to catch lots of invertebrates! We have learned a lot about local wildlife and the local area.
After tea we learned to do weaving and have been playing, drawing and writing postcards.
Tomorrow we are looking forward to thatching and going on a boat trip to Barton Broad as well as visiting the worker’s cottage and finding out about life near the Broads in Victorian times.
The children are all happy and off to bed soon!
