Hi I'm Mrs Ashby

I have taught a few of you before when you were in Year 2 and I'm really looking forward to having you all in Oak class in September.

I have been teaching for many years and Millfield is my 4th school I have worked at and it's also the longest I have stayed. I joined Millfield in September 2005, so before many of you were even born!

Here's a little bit of information about me:

• I have two children, a boy (6 years old) and a girl (13 years old)
• We have two guinea pigs 
• History is my favourite subject but I also love geography, art and maths
• I love spending time and playing with my two children, going on long walks, playing badminton, puzzles, baking and reading
• Favourite children's authors are: Phillip Pullman, Michael Morpurgo, Phil Earle, Frank Cottrell Boyce - there are many more!
