Good morning Sycamore Class!
Welcome to Get Moving Monday!
Decide whether you are ready for an energetic start today with Joe Wicks or a dance workout with Oti Mabuse. Or perhaps you'd prefer a more peaceful start to help you to ease into the week with some Yoga from Cosmic Kids Yoga?
Remember to try to spend a bit of time every day on these following activities:
Usually, at this time of the year, we begin to spend some time reflecting on our year together and some of our favorite memories as a class and our individual achievements.
This year has certainly been a very unique one and one which we are sure that you will all remember for a long time. As we now have less than 2 weeks together as a class, I thought that it would be nice if today you could spend some time thinking about your ‘Sycamore highlights’ from this year.
They can be your memories from any point in this school year. I wonder if you can all also think back to our sorting hat activities at this point last year, and the qualities that you identified for yourself. Perhaps you might want to spend some time thinking about the qualities that you have developed over this year. Mrs. Monsey and I can certainly think of many qualities that we are so proud to have seen you all develop over this unusual time.
After you have spent some time thinking and reflecting on your Sycamore highlights and your own personal achievements, then spend some time writing and illustrating about your Sycamore highlights.
I am really looking forward to seeing your writing and illustrations about your memories and highlights J
There has been some super work from lots of you so far for our work on Fractions. Well done and keep up your great effort!

Here is the activity sheet for you and the answer sheet:

I have popped the activity ideas into the class resources section so that you can choose the activity that you feel ready for today!
Enjoy staying active! J
Song of the week
The sun is forecast to be shining today and hopefully it really will be a great day for you all, just like what is described in the song of the week!
The name of the song you will learn today is, ‘Great Day!’.
I hope that you have a lovely time learning and singing along with this lovely song J
