Maple Class

Good Morning Maples

It's Tasty Tuesday today!

We have lots of fun learning for you today.

We know and understand that energy levels and motivation are low. We would still love to hear from you so please keep sending us your emails.

Apologies if you already know about 'Hasselback' potatoes but these beauties are the sooooooo tasty.

I will be attempting to use up some of my potatoes this way with tonights meal.

Have you tried any sporting activities yet?

Remember later in the week, you could even have a family sports day! Remember to let us know how you get on with some photos!

Sport for you in school this summer holiday

We have some exciting news about sport at our school over the Summer.

There will be P.E. sports available exclusively for years 2,3 and 4 for 2 weeks in the summer holiday. These sessions are being fully funded by the school as a gesture for those year groups as they have not had the opportunity to return to school this term.

A flyer will be going out this week. It is also available to see below.

There are limited places (please only book 1 week for your child to give the opportunity  to more children) but if you are interested book online with Premier Education.

Remember, aim to read EVERYDAY or at least every other day!

You all did so well with the ladybirds and dalmatian dog 'spot' display.  Reading is an important skill to keep up. So find a book you want to read that you are interested in and read with a parent or on your own.

Just a little reminder about the library summer reading challenge -

You can now sign up for this in June on the website. The theme this year is 'The Silly Squad'.

This term, our focus is “LOVE WHERE WE LIVE!”

This is a great focus because although we are stuck at home, and missing our friends, we are so fortunate to live in beautiful Norfolk.

Mrs Sorensen and Mrs King want you to know that you are all great parents and we understand that this is may be a stressful time. Please do not worry if you are unable to do all of the activities each day, of course that is fine. Please look after yourselves and do things that will make you smile!
We will be welcoming back more pupils returning to school from Monday 29th June with 2 bubbles of Year 1 and Year 5.............We will now have 45% of our pupils back in school but have run out of rooms and staff!.............The school continues to remain open as usual to vulnerable children and children of key workers in Years 2-4 (places are limited) - to book a place please contact the school office via or use the contact form on this website .............Take a look at our Noticeboard to see the activities the children in school have been getting up to.....................Please see the class pages on this website for home based learning activities each day...........................Would you like to work at Millfield? ...Check out our vacancies in the 'About Us' section...........
