In our Learning Theme (History) lessons, we have been learning about the Great Fire of London! At the start of term, we asked for you to bring in some cereal boxes to help with some craft the children were going to be doing.
We made period houses using these cereal boxes and we designed them to look like the ones that would have been built in London back in the 17th century. As a class, we did some research about what these houses may have looked like by watching video reconstructions and by looking at paintings from the time.
We hope that you like what the children have made! We helped them to think of the design and modelled how this could be achieved but the houses themselves are 100% the children’s work!
