Introduction to your teachers

Hi new Maple class!

We are your teachers. You may have seen us around school. Mrs King and I will both be your teachers. I (Mrs Sorensen) will teach you on Mondays and Tuesdays and Mrs King will teach you on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. We work part time because we are Mummies too.

Mrs Sorensen

I live with my husband, my two children Joe and Ella and our two cats (soon to be three cats). We are a busy family and love being out and about on walks and bike rides.  I love open water swimming too. My husband and I enjoy swimming, cycling and running events.

I love food also and enjoy baking at home. My children really enjoy homemade pizza so we have that once a week at the moment.

Reading is important too and I try to find time every evening to enjoy a good adventure/mystery book.

I am really looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Mrs King

I live with my husband, two little girls and three pets (a dog, a cat and a hamster)! I love going on lovely walks, bike rides and days out on the river in our inflatable boat with my family!  I also love the beach, especially when it is hot so I can swim in the sea! I love to read every night before I go to sleep. I also love sharing books and stories with my children. Some of my favourite children's books are The Twits by Roald Dahl, The Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton, Jack and the Flumflum Tree by Julia Donaldson and ALL of the Harry Potter books! I can't wait to get to know you all and share some fun stories, learning and adventures together!

All children returned to school on Monday 8th March.......Please see the Parent Information Booklet under the Parent section of this website in Letters..........If you are interested in working at Millfield, please check our vacancies on About Us section of this website...............If you are looking for a school place for your child and would like to have an informal discussion please contact the school office.........
