So, here we are! Heading towards the last two days of this academic year, and what a challenging one it has been.
We never expected to all become teachers and curriculum experts overnight, as well as carrying on with being parents, working from home and the day to day running of our homes and lives! You have all done an AMAZING job and no matter how much you may continue to think ' I've not done enough', please be reassured that you have! You have kept your loved ones safe and healthy and provided the love and support they need, despite, in some cases, not even being able to see them.
Below is a link to a huge amount of activities, advice, support and ideas. Although this summer will be tricky because not everything will be accessible, businesses and charities are trying their best to help the local communities.
Have a wonderful summer, enjoy the sunshine and we look forward very much to seeing you all in September! We return back to school on Monday 7th September 2020.

Well the weekend is fast approaching, with more sunshine and warmth on the way! Hopefully you will make the most of being outside now that we are able to take exercise more than once a day, socially distancing, of course!!!
I hope that you are enjoying the lovely activities, games and crafts that you are accessing from the website and class pages. Both Alison and Hannah have been blown away with the incredible work that they have seen in the class galleries. You are doing some amazing things with your home learning, so keep up the great work.
Some families however, during this time will have found things difficult. Here are some signposts to various links that provide a listening ear, understanding and appreciate what you have been going through. They will offer confidential support, advice and where to go from here.
Take care and keep safe

Hello to you all,
Today we have added the updated version of North Norfolk and Broadland Community focus bulletin as a link. There are many useful telephone numbers, resources and help with numerous things. Please do take a look!
This bulletin has 6 main sections:
Advice and Guidance
Grants / Funding
Volunteering / Training
North Walsham Emergency Grant Fund
As you may or may not already know, the Community Shop exists to help the town (North Walsham) by granting funds to projects and groups. As a reaction to the Covid-19 crisis they are working with Phoenix Group to provide small grants to those in difficulty at this time. They have established a supporting emergency grant fund for those who live in North Walsham and are facing financial hardship during the pandemic.
I will post the links for the application form and details later on this afternoon so please look below:

Good morning! What a glorious weekend we were treated too! It makes such a difference when the sun is shining. Today are a few links to support you if you are needing new ideas other than those on the amazing class pages, which I'm sure you will agree, the teachers in Millfield have been going above and beyond to provide for you. On the link you will find many click on websites which will add extra variety to your daily schooling. Our favourite at the moment is the London Zoo tour! Here you can see animals being fed and lots of information on the animals and the work which goes into looking after the animals. The Natural History Museum also offers tours, another favourite is the Tutankhamun tour! Definitely one to see! Please look below to find this.
We are well aware that this can be a difficult time for families. Finding it strange and stressful all being together for long periods of times and not having your own space. The links we have provided are for free and a non judgemental support and advice. The NHS have also provided a leaflet which we have attached for how to access family services. Again, please see below for this!
Have a wonderful week. Hopefully we will be graced with more sunshine enabling us all to get out in the garden and enjoy outdoor learning! Keep sending the class teachers the wonderful work you have all been doing, it makes our day to see how much you are achieving. Keep up the wonderful work, we know it can be hard at times, but little and often is the best way. Following the suggested timetable will keep you all on track! Above all, stay healthy and safe. We are thinking of you all!

Hope you have had a lovely weekend, despite the change in temperature, however today the sun is shining. On our way to school, we have seen the beautiful rainbows that some of you have put in your windows. They make us smile!!
The link today is for parents and carers who have shared access to their children, whether it is an informal agreement or a pending/in place court order. There has been much confusion about this in the media, so this will clarify anything. You can also check out the government website here : https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/guide-for-separated-parents-children-and-the-family-courts-cb7
On a lighter note, here are some recipes for different types of dough you can make at home:

Hello to you all on this beautiful sunny day!
We hope you are all well and getting out in the garden as much as you can. If you do not have a garden, then a walk a day is advised in lines with the government guidelines on social distancing: Click link below
Visit the link further down the page to a great resource when things get too much and you cannot think outside the box! You can save this onto your laptop or phone as a PDF file for quick access, or print if you have a printer.

Wishing you health, peace and safety....remember, just do the best you can, your wellbeing as a parent/carer is just as important as it is for our children. Look after YOU! We will focus on this on our next update
