Rowan Class - Autumn Term!
Welcome to the Autumn Term in Rowan Class.
Welcome to the Autumn Term. I hope everyone has enjoyed the glorious summer holidays and is ready to tuck back into some vital learning.
This half term we will have swimming on a Monday afternoon so please ensure you have your swimming kit and a coat (incase of poor weather conditions). Please ensure your PE kit is in school all week as we will be undertaking some extra fitness and running along with our regular PE lessons.
This term our learning theme links finding out about about The Mysterious Mayans. We will be doing lot of different activities relating to this in the up and coming weeks.
English homework will be sent out on a Monday and Maths homework on a Tuesday. Please hand your homework in on Friday if possible. If there are any difficulties understanding your homework, please do come and ask me for a little help.
In science we will be learning about Classification, Evolution and Inheritance. In our first week we will be observing some different living organisms in the five kingdoms.
If you have any questions or concerns, I am available on the playground after school.
Would you like to read something a bit different?
Children and parents often ask teachers for good ideas for what to read. Below, you can find a great book list with many different genres and authors of fiction that you might like to try.
Have you seen the Kids' Zone Play games, and visit some fun websites. You can vote for your favourites!
