Year 6 and their feathered friends!
Oak Class had a fantastic morning last Thursday with the Happisburgh Owls. We listened to Sandra who discussed owl anatomy, habitats, hunting and feeding - the best part though, was when we got to hold each owl and have a photo! As you can see from the photos, Trouble - the northern white-faced owl - spent the whole morning asleep! We are now definitely ready to write our reports in English using all the great technical vocabulary we have learnt. We were amazed at just how interesting the owls were and we wouldn’t have been able to spend the morning with them if it wasn’t for Sandra and her team - we would like to say a huge thank you to Happisburgh owls for coming to Millfield.
